Listen, getting counsel and wisdom from people when your facing a hard situation is not a bad thing, but sometimes it can create more confusion than confidence.
Here’s the truth: the more advice and opinions you invite in, the more opinions and advice you will receive. And one opinion may conflict with the other, leaving you feeling torn, still uncertain of what to do.
I know. I’ve been there so many times.
So, here’s what I do when I’m in that situation…I go to the Lord and ask Him what He thinks about the advice, and what I’m to do in my very personal and unique situation.
From there, He gives divine strategy and specific instructions that I’m to confidently trust and walk out; He’s never led me wrong. I have an over twenty year track record of how He’s led me in the most overwhelming situations. He is so thorough and so faithful!
He sees the bigger picture, He sees the heart, He sees what sometimes can’t be explained, and He sees the outcome.
Here’s a pull from my book, Life is Muddy:
“GOD HAS YOUR POSITION!
When we move into position, placing our focus on Him, that’s when His peace can reign in our lives . . . the peace that is far beyond our human understanding.
The miraculous pierces through the mud!
God is all knowing and can see the larger picture. He knows around our corner, He has a plan, and it’s a good one!
Why would we outsource other plans and options when we have a direct contact with the Alpha and Omega?” —L.I.M
Go to Him.
Trust what He has to say, take your position, and faith forward!
Much love, J
