Get Up and Tune into Him

“When the mud pits of life become all-consuming, have you trained your spiritual ears to hear His command?

His lead?

His voice?

His tailor-made divine strategy?

I have found that the more time I spend in His Word, the more it saturates my soul and becomes infused into my spirit, enabling me to be on high alert to His lead.

The more I learn to shut down my own thoughts, replacing them with His promises, the more I become anchored in His truth and I no longer feel defeated by what I see but empowered by what I know to be true!

God is for me, so who can be against me?!?

God has a purpose, a plan . . . and my position!

He is always working, He is mighty to save, and He will see me (and my family) to the finish line!

He wants us all to adopt this mindset.

A mindset that does not get weary because of what we are seeing or feeling, because we have become so tuned into Him, we can hear His lead through any situation, empowering us to automatically rise!

God wants to train us to hear Him in critical situations. The only way to take on this mindset is to train ourselves to be so in tune with His Spirit that it literally becomes ingrained into our very being.

How does this happen?

First—CHOOSE TO GET UP!

Second—Your time with Him and applying His words in your life as an action plan is critical.

Did you catch that?

James 1:22 says to be doers of the Word not hearers. That is an action . . . get up and do!

Our Bible is our playbook for life. God has given us a bird’s eye view into His heart, His strength, His ways, and where our focus needs to remain. Not only do we have a life manual that has proven itself throughout time, but we have the power of the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead living inside of us!

Do you comprehend what I am telling you?

Seriously . . . soak this in.

You are the temple of the living God . . . He is the Creator of the universe.

The Alpha and Omega.

The Beginning and the End.

We have the honor of developing a partnership with the same God of yesterday . . . the God of the miraculous.

Choosing to rise up is what positions us to hear the leading of our Commanding Officer, the Holy Spirit. When we get up and listen, we are able to make decisions in His strength and not our own. We also have to recognize that what feels like the biggest mud pit ever will never be bigger than God!

…When you have the perspective that what you are facing is hard . . . BUT GOD!

God is bigger.

God is greater.

God is for me.

God has a good plan.

The weapon may be forged against me, BUT IT WILL NOT PREVAIL!” —Life is Muddy

Do not lay down in the middle of the battle…get up and tune into Him!

Much love, J
