But what about in the church?

Are we living under the same demand?

Are we feeling the pressure to be involved on a level that’s costing us our joy and peace?

The truth is, even in the church, there is an underlying do more in order to be enough message that puts a burden on God’s children that is not His heart and it’s time to take an honest look at the reason we might be saying yes when we should be saying no.

In today’s episode we dive into that very question, Are you saying yes when you should be saying no?

I believe this is a question we should be asking ourselves regularly, but more importantly, we should be checking in with God. He knows exactly what He has for each of us in season — His grace is sufficient.

As believers, we are to become more and more like Him.

Transformed.

This is what it means to live out our new natures, to be like Christ.

More often than not, what I have observed through conversations within the body of Christ, are words that expose a pattern of thinking that is shaped by emotions, circumstances, and their experiences versus what they have through Christ, with very self-defeating thoughts, and their actions follow suit.

Today, we are going to talk about the key to that lasting, life-transforming change, and it all begins when we renew our mind in Truth.

My heart for each of us is to live transformed.

Do you have areas in your life where you feel stuck, and you are just unable to get real breakthrough?

Maybe even feelings of frustration and defeat, wondering why God hasn’t shown up to help you?

If you are saying, yes! That’s me! Then today’s conversation is for you!

Jesus paved the way for us to live an empowered life in the Spirit and we are going to look at one of the ways we can actually block ourselves from our own personal growth, spiritual maturity and from that continual forward motion of life in the Spirit.

God wants us to experience freedom from patterns and behaviors in our lives and while we do experience miracles and supernatural abilities through Him, sometimes there are areas that He’s waiting for us to face and take responsibility for so that we can invite His power into that place of struggle and move forward without repeating those negative cycles.

Today we are going to talk about this idea of looking back long enough to learn and grow!
