Getting counsel and wisdom from others when you’re facing a difficult situation is not a bad thing, but sometimes, it can create more confusion than confidence.
Here’s the truth: the more advice, and opinions you invite, the more opinions and advice you will receive. And one opinion may conflict with the other, leaving you feeling torn, still uncertain of what to do.
I know — I’ve been there many times.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
First, I go directly to the Lord and ask Him what He thinks about the advice. The Holy Spirit helps me sift through man’s opinion versus the wisdom of God. From there, the Holy Spirit gives me divine strategy and specific instructions that I’m to confidently trust and walk out.
He’s never led me wrong. I have an over twenty-year track record of how He’s led me in the most overwhelming situations.
He is so thorough and so faithful to guide with precision!
He sees the bigger picture — He sees the heart; He sees what sometimes can’t be explained, and He sees the outcome.
Are you walking through an overwhelming season?
God has a plan; seek Him. He will reveal your position, and then take your God-appointed place!
When we move into position, placing our focus on Him, that’s when His peace can reign in our lives . . . the peace that is far beyond our human understanding.
The miraculous pierces through the mud!
God is all knowing and can see the larger picture. He knows around our corner, He has a plan, and it’s a good one!
Why would we outsource other plans and options when we have a direct contact with the Alpha and Omega?
Go to Him.
Trust what He has to say, take your position, and faith forward!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. -Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)
