Do you ever feel like God has given you the harder path?
Like, sometimes it just feels as if you’ve had to work harder with everything you put your hand to and it seems like outwardly you get very little in return?
Do you feel like your all-in-surrendered-life is nothing like what you’ve envisioned for yourself, it’s just been painfully HARD all around?
If that’s you, let me ask you some questions:
Can you look back at those hard moments and see where you’ve developed perseverance and become stronger because of those hard seasons?
How about how God has met you? Have you experienced a facet of God that sometimes people don’t experience because they haven’t lived in the valleys like you have?
Have you witnessed God moments where He breathes on you and fills you with a strength that you know came from something way bigger than you?
Has your harder journey shaped and molded you into a vessel for Him that would not otherwise exist?
Have your faith muscles been stretched and expanded because you had no other choice but to trust and follow Him when nothing made sense?
Were your resources so limited that God had to show up, and He did?
How many times has His supernatural comfort enveloped you, putting your heart at ease?
Have you discovered that He truly is your safe place and no matter what battle you face, you’ve learned to rise and rise again?
You, my friend, have been through the fires of life and have come out a warrior for Him.
Don’t compare your journey to another. You can withstand the fires of life no matter how high the heat. One who boldly and unashamedly trusts and follows Him no matter what. You are firm-footed and have built your life on the Rock. You have been hard-pressed in all sides and what comes out of you looks more and more like Him.
Keep going. Keep believing. Keep persevering. Finish your race strong. And faith forward!
