Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed and bound by worry?
Time to praise!
“Praise Him in each and every storm. Not just on Sundays when a worship pastor leads you . . . God will lead you!
It’s time to declare these life-breathing truths, allowing the Holy Spirit to ignite a fire from so deep within your spirit that you can’t hold back from praising the King of kings, and Lord of lords! The Orchestrator and Author of life . . . the same God who delivered the Israelites out of slavery. The same God who shut the lions’ mouths. The same God who sent His Son to walk the earth and heal the sick . . . the same God who raised the dead.
That same God is the same today. He is living among us. He is the God of the miraculous and He is still doing this today:
Freeing the captives—
Healing the sick—
Delivering us over and over again from our enemies.
He lives, He reigns, He sent Jesus and washed our sins away.
He brought us into right standing with Himself because He loves us. He made us in His image. He cares deeply and passionately for us. He pursues us, and He will never leave us.
He is your God and my God, and our God and He deserves all glory and all praise.
All day, every day, He deserves all the honor and praise because we know that no matter what we face in life, no mud pit will ever be bigger than our God!
We know that all things work out for our good and His glory, so why not give Him glory while you’re in the mud pits of life?
You already know who wins.
We are on the winning team.
As we say God’s truth out loud, focusing our attention on what is pure and lovely rather than what is hard and messy, the peace that surpasses all understanding will pour over us like a fresh waterfall straight from Heaven, washing away every layer of mud that the enemy set out to keep us bound.
Praising God opens us up and causes our entire being to line up with Him in unity. When we are praising, we are partnering with angelic hosts. It is literally one of the most powerful weapons of warfare we have.
It pierces the darkness.
Satan hates it when we praise the name of Jesus because he knows he is finished.
When we elevate Jesus, we crush the enemy beneath our feet!” -Life is Muddy
