There’s only one who wants you to doubt God and distance yourself from Him. He is the one who wants to fill your heart and mind with thoughts and questions that get you to believe that God does not have a good plan for your life, and will continually whisper lies that feel like truth, luring you to believe the kingdom of this world has more for you.

He will use anyone and anything, going after your weakest areas, in hopes to get you to cave. His hope is to get you trapped into sinful ways until you are numb to the things of God.

He is the master manipulator and he preys on those who have not fortified the walls of their hearts and minds firmly in Truth.

He studied your actions, and found your vulnerable areas…he knew exactly what traps he needed to put in place to slowly lead you away from God’s heart, and into a life that is far from God’s good and perfect plan.

The main goal is to get you to give up in the areas that he knows are a threat to his dark kingdom. It’s his desire that you chase after the things of this world, which may satisfy momentarily, but will ultimately lead you to an empty, unfulfilled and broken life.

You know who he is. He’s the enemy of your soul—the thief that comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

Don’t give satan anymore room in your life!

Yes, he found an in, but you let him, and it’s time for you to take back the ground he’s gained in your life with a fierce boldness!

Stop blaming God for what the enemy has done, and start paying attention to those anti-God thoughts that are consuming your mind, recognizing that satan has been behind them, lying to you, this whole time.

Look back at the sequence of events that slipped into your life and be willing to look at the weak areas where the enemy found an in, and turn your whole heart back to God.

He is waiting with open arms; He’s the One who’s been gently nudging you home. He knows the areas in your heart that were hurt by life and people, and He knows exactly what the enemy used to lure you away from trusting Him. He’s not mad at you, but He’s hurting for you because He knows life outside of His good and perfect design is going to continually be met with an emptiness inside of your heart that can only be filled by Him.

He made you. He created the very intricate details of who you are, and who He’s designed you to be. Anything you do apart from Him will leave you constantly chasing something, only to arrive with that same unsatisfied, empty pit within your core.

But when you turn your whole heart to God, and invite Him to be Lord once again, you will find that fire—that passion for life, fully restored.
