Fear clouds our thinking and muffles God’s voice making it impossible to hear Him clearly.
When fear has permission to rule our thoughts, we become reactive to life around us.
This method of reactionary living that stems from fear can easily take us off course.
We must recognize when fear is at the core by asking ourselves some simple questions—
What am I feeling?
What am I thinking?
What am I believing?
If you find a theme phrase seems to be your response: “I am afraid that….”. Chances are fear has a foothold.
When fear has had a way in our lives, we have to face a truth that it stems from an underlining insecurity, and reveals where we struggle to fully trust God.
This becomes an opportunity to deepen our faith walk, starting with confession.
Denounce, and uproot the spirit of fear, then ask the Holy Spirit to give you fresh eyes, and a sound mind to see and hear.
Fill your mind with God’s Truth until it becomes your Truth that you live from.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)
This will be a journey towards your freedom as you learn to live from a place of confident trust in the Lord, where fear has no place to speak! ⚔️
